Having a tea party

A fond memory I have as a little girl is the tea parties my sister and I had with our mini porcelain tea set(together with all our dolls of course!) My mom still has that set,but I'm too sentimental to let my 3 year old play with it yet,so granny bought her a cute tin set for her birthday and we just had to try it out! She had fun "setting" the table (had a playful maths lesson there: 1 for me,1 for you,1 for teddy,1 for dolly,4 altogether, none left etc.)
The actual tea making were a bit messy. I filled the "kettle" with boiled water and cold milk,so she wont burn herself in the process, poured us a cuppa, then she added the sugar herself (way too much,of course!)
Sharing was another moral lesson I tried to get through to her, because a 3 year old is still very much egocentric, and with her new brother growing up quickly now she's gonna have to learn the sharing principle very quick as well!
A nice activity, but short, because when the cookies were finished so was her interest;)
And after our tea party we had to do the dishes (an activity she still enjoys, not mommy;)
