Fantasy Play:Shop

It is so amazing to see how my 3 year old's imaginations is kicking in now! Her favourite  scenarios are school(and then she is the very strict teacher!) and going to the shop(with a doll, and a handbag, and don't forget the phone!)
So we turned the fantasy corner with the doll house into a little shop for her to let her imagination run freely!

We used the cash box, and made some coins, just numbered circles from 1-5. (not that we get R3,R4 coins in South Africa, but she is still too young to learn about that in any case) but made it colour coded for extra learning when she "sorts" out her till. Also made note money, again, she does not know the value of it, but that does not stop the learning experience.

Here she is picking which items to buy. We used her plastic play food and also empty boxes of real things one can buy, like an empty tissue box.

Packing her groceries into a bag;)

Her turn to play shopkeeper while mommy shops! One of these days baby brother can join in the fun too, taking over from mom;)
She is having a friend over tommorrow, will update this post with photos when they play shop.
Oh what  a fun activity! And don't forget, educational too!
