Handmade Gifts by Kids #3


This week's gifts are bookmarks. I know not everyone reads books, or rather e-books lately, but it is still a nice gift to make for the kids.

The photo shows three different ones:
- Foam with photo(left)
- Doctor stick and wooden picture (middle)
- Magnetic bookmark with picture (right)

Foam bookmark with photo
What you'll need:
- craft foam cut into a rectangle 
- craft foam cut outs
- glitter glue
- glue

What to do:
- cut a window for the photo
- add the photo by attaching it to the back
- decorate with cut outs and glitter glue
Done!

Doctor Stick with wooden picture
What you'll need:
- doctor stick
- wooden picture or picture cut out of cardboard
- paint
- glue

What to do:
- paint the stick and picture
- when dry, attach the picture to the stick
Easy- peasy!

Magnetic bookmark with picture
What you need:
- two rectangular pieces of not too thick cardboard
- wooden picture or one cut out of cardboard
- two small magnets
- paint or felt tip pens
- glue

What to do:
- colour or paint the picture and pieces
- attach the magnets to the inside so it will attract each other when closed
- attach the picture
