We won't be home for a week in December, but I want to take something Christmassy with us, so this must do! With a little imagination this could work as a Christmas tree when stacked, and it is a toy for Lella: decorating the "tree" with the homemade magnets!
The tree is different sized tins and green duct tape.
The magnets I used gift wrap paper pictures, cut out and glued onto a magnets sheet, and cut out again. (Just make sure when pasting the pictures that it is nice and flat. I know when just a small piece stands up, my girl will pull the whole thing off like a sticker!)
When travelling it could be packed into each other, or the big tin can be kept in the car with the magnets for an activity for Lella.
This tin "tree" was fun to make, and frugal also. And I bet it will be a hit with my daughter!
Why don't you make one yourself?
