Weekend activities

Although the winter here in South Africa was not as cold(yet), our weekend activities are mostly indoors. A favourite is to visit indoor play venues (yes,because as you know 3 year old have lots of energy and only running around,climbing,jumping etc gets rid of that!) and baby brother loves to look at all the action.

Zoo trips on a not so cold day are always a winner, actually anything to do with animals and Lella is happy!

We do still play outside,if the weather allows, but a great indoor activity is this moon sand. Just be warned: it does get messy,so use a plastic table cloth to contain the mess,and keep an eye on the kids (when boredom kicks in so does naughtiness, anyhow thats what happened here;) 

This is super soft "sand" that reminds me of the sand at Clifton beach. So eays to make, simply mix 1 part baby oil to 4 parts cake flour.You can build sand castles, the works, so dads, join in,please!!
