Handmade Gifts by Kids Series #4

Are you following us on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram?

This week's gifts are Pen holders, made from recyclable tins.
Very easy to make, and frugal too!

Burlap and feather pen holder
What you'll need:
- a small tin (we used a small coffee tin)
- piece of burlap
- feathers of some sort (we used guinea fowl feathers)
- mini peg
- buttons
- glue

What to do:
- glue the burlap around the tin
- add the feathers and peg
- we used some buttons all around (although one cannot see it on the photo)
Done!

Craft stick pen holder
What you'll need:
- small tin(again we used a small coffee tin)
- craft sticks
- strip of sticky tape
- glue

What to do:
- line up the sticks on the sticky tape
- stick it on the tin by wrapping it around the tin and using the glue top and bottom
Easy-peasy!
You can add a mini peg like with the burlap holder or write a personalised message directly on the sticks.

This will make a perfect teacher's gift or for dad/mom's office! Even for friends to use for their pencils on a desk;)

Happy crafting!
