Recycle Crafts: Spring Flowers

Apparently it was Teacher Appreciation day on the 5th of October(we missed it somehow), so we decided to make something for Lella's teacher, just to show her some love. Flowers are always a nice gesture, and something handmade, so we combined the two and made these lovely flowers in a vase, everything from our recycling storeroom. (yes, we have a whole room full of stuff we can use for crafts, heaven!)

We used:
- egg cartons, cut like flowers
- kebab sticks
- glass juice bottle
- tissue paper
- paint
- modge podge

Painting the flowers

Cutting pieces of tissue paper, but tearing it works better. (she just loves cutting)

Modge podging the paper onto the bottle

We painted the sticks and glued them onto the egg carton flowers. Here they are drying.

So chuffed! On the way to school to give to her Teacher Magda;)

This was fun, and green! (we love recycling crafts, don't you?)
